Bonjour or not…
It goes so well. As if. Check my routes for today’s Revard session in heavy rain. Sometimes it seems that I know how to orienteer here, but when it goes wrong, it really does…

Tomorrow it’s the doom’s day. I’m going to find out if I’m bad, quite bad, quite okay or even surprisingly good in the third Huippuliiga race. Usually, it’s been quite easy to run competitions in Finland as I’ve known my place and pace, but now that everything’s a bit upside down, I may even feel bad after the first controls. I was also training so (or too) much last week that today I still felt very tired, which isn’t really helping at all.
Great greetings from Lapland!
During the last week I took a huge running step forward. At last I was able to run in the woods too. Not more than a week ago we were heading towards Pasi’s home in Northern Finland and took part in one o-training on our way. I lost 28 minutes to Pasi on a 6 km course, but at the moment I think the gap would be only half of it:)
I promised myself not to write here before I can write something positive. I’ve been checking all the possibilities that could be causing the odd feeling I still have 5 weeks after the lung fever but it seems that it’s just the inflammation in my lung that still need some time and there’s nothing else wrong with me, which is good news. Otherwice, I’ve been okay but if I try to run I notice immediately that my body’s not working. That’s why I still have to wait for better times and feelings.
