No NORT

It hit me again. Just two days ago I got this tiny flu and now instead of preparing myself for NORT I’m taking it easy at home and leaving, once again, Wcup and the tour go by.

In fact, it wasn’t a hard decision as Vuokatti is coming closer all the time and I’ve got no time to lengthen this snot with weeks. My plan A was not to take part in NORT anyway, so I’m actually just doing things better for the WOC now not eating my carrots but saving them for bigger events. Okay, maybe this is little self suggestion from me, but there’s a tiny hint of truth as well.

Terrain typing

Spring has finally reached also Vuokatti and here we are training eagerly in the type terrains. After winning the Finnish Huippuliiga I finally took the rest period my body and head really needed. It’s not typical to jog and walk for one week during a competition season but it was worth it. After the rest week I felt finally good, normal and happy in the Finnish champs in sprint in Mikkeli.

Don’t have to

It’s nice to notice that I don’t have to write anything here if there’s nothing important to say. It’s also nice to notice that if I feel tired, I don’t have to make harder trainings just to make sure that my diary looks good. I’ve been feeling quite tired during the last weeks and decided to take a break in harder trainings after the second Huippuliiga event last weekend. I took the victory like I did in the first one (sprint), but my orienteering and physics felt just bad.
