Dum-dum-dum-dum!

I never learn. I’ve done this too many times during this training season and oops, I did it again. As I wrote before I was tired in the competitions last week. Well, I still didn’t rest. Instead I thought I’d recover by training twice a day if I just do it on aerobic level. Well, that’s bullshit. When you’re tired, you must rest. Only a dum girl like me doesn’t understand it.

So. I ran these Uudenmaan Rastipäivät yesterday and today. The first day was excellent excercice for using compass and running on a quite bad and heavy surface. For me those empty areas tend to be tricky as I’m not really good at running straight…maybe because I’m not using compass too much. My legs were also really heavy on Saturday, which was no wonder as the two rest days without rest after a hard training period didn’t help me to recover;)

On my own :)

 Last weekend I was thinking that it’s a bit boring that our team never goes to Tiomila again. My team mates just have too much life on their own that I’m more or less on my own training hard. On the otherhand, when the main goals are just individual ones at the moment, you can just train as much as you like and as wicely as possible when it comes to the biggest goals of the season.

Finspring2011

Season opening

Easter is over and my first competitions and o-trainings in Finland too. I had 2 fysically good trainings but technically it wasn’t really what I wanted. On Saturday we had Finspring, a long distance with very detailed and hard terrain. I started carefully but after some mistakes made the basic mistake to start chasing the time I had missed.
